"You know you're a wolf! Are you planning to transform and waltz out of this hospital? Do you want to scare people to death!"
"No need to transform. Once the sedative wears off and I regain my strength, this little medical hall can't hold me." The Wolf King wore an arrogant expression. "Even without magic, my martial arts alone can get me out of here!"
Qiqi broke out in a cold sweat and quickly dismissed his idea. "Don't you dare! This is a hospital, a place to save lives and heal the sick!"
The Wolf King's eyes showed disdain. "Using underhanded means to imprison me here—what kind of life-saving healer is that?"
"That's your own fault for being too violent!" Qiqi shot him a glare, thought for a moment, then pulled out her phone from her bag and started snapping pictures of the Wolf King.
The clicking sounds startled him. "What are you doing?"
"Taking some photos of you first. Later, I'll figure out how to get a fake ID," Qiqi replied.
"Photos? ID?"
"Yeah, something to get you out, to prove who you are." Qiqi answered casually, flipping through the photos—a stunning beauty, worthy of being a desktop wallpaper.
She put away her phone and instructed, "Your Majesty the Wolf King, wait for me here obediently. I'll find a way to get you out."
"When? Do I have to stay in this medical hall any longer?" The Wolf King was displeased.
He had never suffered such humiliation—tied up, enduring terrible food daily, and being drugged! Though the drug only left him weak, his pride wouldn't allow it.
"Soon. Just bear with it for two more days!" Qiqi replied.
"Two days? Do you think I'll tolerate that?" The Wolf King narrowed his phoenix eyes, a dangerous glint appearing.
"Haven't you already been here for two days? What's two more?" Qiqi said dismissively.
"That's because my internal injuries weren't healed the first two days. Now, they're almost fully recovered." The Wolf King flashed his arrogant expression again.
"You..."
Qiqi remembered the hole in her security door and had a bad feeling—if this guy really regained his strength, he'd surely turn the hospital upside down. And since she'd left her information here, even her "cousin" alias might not escape blame.
So she pleaded earnestly, "Don't resort to violence. This is a harmonious society now—everything should be settled with reason..."
The Wolf King sneered, clearly ignoring her words.
Qiqi was troubled and about to continue her lecture when light footsteps echoed from the hallway—it seemed Dr. Lu was back.
The Wolf King tensed, a flash of green light in his eyes!
Qiqi's internal alarm bells rang instantly!
She shot up and grabbed the Wolf King's arm. "Don't do anything rash! Otherwise, I'll have them inject you with sedative right now!"
Oh? You dare threaten me?
The Wolf King narrowed his eyes, staring at Qiqi. "Fine, I'll wait for you to save me. But I'll only give you two hours!"
"What?"
"That man outside is your senior, isn't he? You two seemed to be chatting happily." The Wolf King's eyes held the look of a predator spotting prey. "Since you're so close, I think you wouldn't want him to develop some intermittent mental illness, would you?"
"Rong Yi! What do you mean? Are you threatening me?" Qiqi was furious—this ungrateful bastard!
"Tit for tat."
The Wolf King let out a cold laugh, his warm breath brushing against Qiqi's ear, making her hair stand on end.
