Chapter 31: Chapter 31: Astonishing Talent

Shen Lu did not answer.

Shen Qi seemed to recall something. She turned around and frantically dug out her college textbooks from the box behind her, holding them up to Shen Lu like a treasure. "Can you understand all of these?"

Shen Lu's gaze fell on Shen Qi's college textbooks, and he gave a slight nod.

Shen Qi was completely stunned!

How was that possible?

Wasn't this too extraordinary?

Shen Qi rummaged through her bag. Luckily, it was made of PU material. Despite being caught in such a heavy rain, her phone was perfectly fine!

Heaven itself was helping her!

Shen Qi pulled out her phone, randomly opened a game, and handed it to Shen Lu. She taught him how to play step by step, then sat down beside him to watch.

What happened next was even more shocking.

This was Shen Lu's first time playing a mobile game, yet he seemed to learn it instinctively. In just a few minutes, he cleared every level!

Shen Qi felt like she was in a fantasy. Refusing to accept it, she took the phone and started from the beginning herself.

But she only made it past three levels before getting eliminated!

How was that possible?

Unwilling to give up, Shen Qi found several more games for Shen Lu. Every time she taught him the rules, he would clear them instantly!

Shen Qi didn't know what to say anymore.

So there really were people in this world with extraordinary talent.

She had never believed it before when she heard that people with autism often had astonishing intelligence.

Because her brother had always seemed so dull since childhood, and even the teachers said his intelligence was slightly below average, that he couldn't understand what others were saying.

Now it seemed her brother wasn't intellectually deficient—he was exceptionally intelligent.

The reason he appeared not to understand others wasn't that he couldn't, but that he didn't want to!

He had always been immersed in his own world, amusing himself, and even Shen Qi had never realized how extraordinary his intelligence was.

In recent years, thanks to timely treatment, his autism had improved.

At least his world now had room for Shen Qi.

Shen Qi didn't know what to say about today's discovery. She could only murmur, "Brother, would you like to stay here from now on?"

"Will Xiaoqi be here?" Shen Lu stared fixedly at Shen Qi.

Shen Qi thought it over. If she left him here alone, she had no idea what might happen. Anyway, over at the villa, her so-called husband never went there.

It didn't really matter where she stayed.

With that in mind, Shen Qi nodded immediately. "Of course. We're family, so we should live together."

This house was originally meant to bury her memories with Zhan Bo. She never expected to actually live here!

Shen Qi quietly calculated. She would still need to go to the villa every day to bring over the food and other supplies, which would save her some expenses.

Hearing Shen Qi's words, Shen Lu smiled happily.

As long as Xiaoqi was there, Shen Lu was happy.

Shen Qi sighed and asked, "Are you hungry? Should I order takeout for you?"

Shen Lu shook his head, indicating he wasn't hungry.

Still, Shen Qi got up from the floor and checked the kitchen to see if there was anything to eat.

Unfortunately, since no one had been living here, there was truly nothing to eat.

Shen Qi glanced at the time. It wasn't too late, so she said to Shen Lu, "Brother, wait for me at home. I'll go out and buy some groceries so I can cook breakfast for you tomorrow morning, okay?"

Shen Lu nodded happily.

Shen Qi grabbed her wallet, locked the door, and left the apartment.
