It had to be said, the seven of them were incredibly lucky—stray arrows could still hit a wild buffalo in a fatal spot.
"Fuck me, these bastards have god-tier luck."
Watching the wild buffalo twitch and fall, Er Gouzi couldn't help cursing.
"Are they really lucky?"
Liu Tiezhu looked at Er Gouzi with a faint, knowing smile.
"Brother Tiezhu, it's our luck."
Er Gouzi paused, then quickly caught on.
Yang Hua chimed in, "Gouzi's right, all this beef is ours now."
"Today, we're making those bastards taste what it's like to work for nothing."
As the three chatted, the wild bull collapsed from blood loss.
"Time for us to step in."
Er Gouzi quickly grabbed a wooden club, ready to ambush from behind.
Liu Tiezhu grabbed the impulsive Er Gouzi.
"Gouzi, did a donkey kick your brain?"
"Don't you see those bastards still holding their longbows?"
"If you charge down now, you want to catch an arrow?"
Hearing this, Er Gouzi immediately calmed down.
Yang Hua added, "Gouzi, Brother Tiezhu's right, now's not the best time."
"Those bastards aren't pushovers—if we rush, they'll definitely shoot."
Liu Tiezhu said, "Everyone, keep your cool. Over a thousand pounds of beef isn't going anywhere."
"When I say charge, then you charge."
Down below, Liu Yusheng and his group weren't in a hurry to head back to where the buffalo fell.
They lit a fire on the spot, skewered two wild rabbits, and started roasting them.
"Fuck me, those are my rabbits."
Seeing this, Er Gouzi got riled up again.
Yang Hua's face darkened, looking like he wanted to devour them whole.
About forty minutes later, Liu Yusheng and his crew patted their bellies, still savoring the meal, and lazily walked toward the buffalo.
They left all their longbows behind, pulling out short knives to start butchering the meat.
"Brother Tiezhu, when do we make our move?"
Er Gouzi couldn't hold back anymore, worried the beef would be taken away.
"Don't rush. When the time's right, I'll tell you."
Liu Tiezhu replied, his eyes fixed on the seven's every move.
Another half hour passed in the blink of an eye.
The seven finished butchering the three buffalo and carried the meat back to the fire.
The whole ordeal had worn them out.
Liu Tiezhu wasn't about to miss this golden opportunity and immediately assigned tasks.
"Gouzi, you take the two on the left. Knock one out with your first swing."
"Yang Hua, you handle the two in the middle."
"Same rule: don't give them a chance to grab their bows."
"The remaining three on the right, including Liu Yusheng, are mine."
"Once we're in position, watch for my signal."
"Remember, no noise, or we're the ones who'll suffer."
With the tasks set, Liu Tiezhu crouched low and crept toward Liu Yusheng's rear.
At that moment, Liu Yusheng was in high spirits, his guard at its lowest.
Their short knives and longbows were all on the ground.
Butchering the buffalo and hauling the meat had drained their energy—perfect for an ambush.
Er Gouzi and Yang Hua moved quickly too.
They acted almost simultaneously with Liu Tiezhu.
The distance between them was about a dozen meters, surrounded by waist-high weeds and dead branches, providing perfect cover for the three.
Still, Liu Tiezhu didn't let his guard down.
While the weeds and branches hid them, they also made movement tricky.
If he stepped on a dry branch and made a sound, it would alert Liu Yusheng's group.
The swaying of the trampled grass could also give them away.
So, every step he took was extremely cautious.
It took them over ten minutes to cover the dozen meters.
Liu Yusheng and his crew were too tired, sitting around the fire chatting, completely unaware of the impending danger.
When Liu Tiezhu was three meters away, he stopped.
Raising his wooden club, the hearts of all three began to race.
It was a natural reaction, adrenaline spiking.
Liu Tiezhu waved his hand, and they charged simultaneously.
"What the—"
Liu Yusheng's face twisted in shock, but before he could finish, a club slammed into his forehead.
His vision went black, and he lost consciousness instantly.
Liu Yapeng, next to him, panicked and reached for his longbow.
But Liu Tiezhu was already on guard, smashing the club into his hand at the same moment.
Before he could scream, another blow hit his head.
The remaining Liu Jun managed to grab his longbow and nock a bamboo arrow.
But in his panic, he fumbled several times, unable to hook the arrow onto the string.
With a thud, Liu Tiezhu struck him on the temple, dropping him.
The fight ended on Liu Tiezhu's side, and Er Gouzi and Yang Hua had finished theirs too.
Liu Tiezhu said, "Gouzi, get their ropes."
"Yang Hua, give me a hand. Move these bastards over to the bitter melon trees."
Er Gouzi looked confused: "Brother Tiezhu, aren't we supposed to beat them up?"
"What are you—"
Liu Tiezhu rolled his eyes: "We tie them up first before beating them, dumbass!"
"If they wake up while we're moving the beef, how are we supposed to haul it?"
"Brother Tiezhu, you've got the brains," Yang Hua said.
With so much beef, the three of them would have a tough time carrying it back.
If they ran into these guys waking up halfway, it'd be a disaster.
Tying them up first meant even if they woke up, they could only watch helplessly.
So Liu Tiezhu's method was definitely the safest.
Working together, it took them over ten minutes to move Liu Yusheng and the other six to the bitter melon trees.
Er Gouzi stripped off their outer cotton coats.
Yang Hua had plenty of experience tying people up.
So he took on that task.
In less than ten minutes, he had each of the seven tied to a separate bitter melon tree.
Er Gouzi walked up to Liu Yusheng, pulled down his pants, and let a stream of hot piss splash onto Liu Yusheng's face.
"Mm... ah... fuck..."
"Gulp... gulp..."
Liu Yusheng woke up and started cursing.
But as soon as he opened his mouth, he choked on Er Gouzi's piss.
"Fuck me, how does it taste?"
"I held it in for two whole hours just to drench you."
Er Gouzi shook off with satisfaction and asked Liu Yusheng.
"Ah... fuck, you dumb bastard, just wait."
Choking on the piss, Liu Yusheng's blood pressure skyrocketed as he screamed curses at Er Gouzi like a madman.
Yang Hua came over and said, "Oh, dumbass, you're pretty hot-headed."
"Good thing your grandpa here has some holy water to cool you down."
Seeing Yang Hua's smug grin, Liu Yusheng's heart sank.
Damn it, he was about to get pissed on again.
"Yang Hua, you motherfucker."
"If you dare mess with me, I'll—"
Before Liu Yusheng could finish, a stream of hot piss splashed onto his face, dousing his rising fury in steam.
