Woo!
A low, roaring howl.
A punch shot out, arriving in an instant before his eyes.
The fist pressure condensed into a tangible force; before the fist even landed, it left one gasping for air.
This punch was unblockable!
Luke's face was filled with despair.
Feng Lin's strength had grown too much, nearly three times what it was before.
He was no match; he'd be crushed in one blow.
If not for his extensive battlefield experience, richer than Feng Lin's, he would have been killed by that first punch.
This was perhaps his only advantage over Feng Lin.
But unfortunately, it was useless. In the face of an absolute gap in strength, all combat experience was worthless!
It was like the most famous brawler of ancient Earth, the "honey badger"—fighting heaven, earth, and air, always on the offensive or the path to it. Its combat experience was undeniably rich, seemingly ferocious, but when facing the king of beasts, the lion, it still ended up dead!
That was how Luke felt now.
He was covered in wounds; there was absolutely no way he could dodge this overwhelmingly fierce punch!
To save his own life, even if it meant severe aftereffects later, he couldn't care less!
If his life was gone, nothing else mattered!
Luke's face twisted in fury. He suddenly pulled a small vial of scarlet, pungent-smelling potion from his chest and gulped it down in one go.
Feng Lin's eyes narrowed as he recognized it: a mid-grade low-martial gene potion, the Boiling Blood Elixir!
This was a gene potion that could instantly unleash a person's latent potential, making their blood boil and temporarily boosting their combat power by over half of normal.
The price was that the effect only lasted an hour, after which it would severely deplete one's vitality, leading to a month-long period of weakness. It wasn't to be used lightly except in dire straits.
It seemed Luke was going all out to survive!
A cold smirk curled at the corner of Feng Lin's mouth.
Though Luke had plenty of tricks, the crushing force of raw power couldn't be compensated for by any means.
He would soon learn what despair truly meant!
Luke downed the entire vial of Boiling Blood Elixir.
His face flushed red, hot air spewing from his mouth and nose as he felt his blood boil like magma and his strength surge.
He felt an unprecedented power; maybe he could...
Win!
He crossed his arms and charged head-on.
Boom!
A dull thud like two mountains colliding.
In an instant, Luke felt a massive force slam down. His eyes bulged, and every vein on his body burst forth.
His arms trembled as he barely managed to block Feng Lin's fist!
Crack!
His expression shifted drastically as the ground beneath his feet shattered, sinking him deep into it.
With the Boiling Blood Elixir's effect, he could barely withstand Feng Lin's force, but counterattack? Win?
Hah...
Dream on!
Hoo! Hoo! Hoo!
Feng Lin exhaled sharply, his fists raining down like a storm, pounding wildly like a tempest sweeping in, instantly engulfing Luke.
With each blow Luke took, his body swayed, and his face reddened a shade more.
Feng Lin's eyes were ruthless; he had fully committed to killing, showing no mercy.
From the moment these people threatened him, they were already dead in Feng Lin's mind.
A dragon has its scales; touch them, and you invite wrath.
Feng Lin had come to Mars to escape his family's control, only to be threatened by these people—truly unbearable!
Boom! Boom! Boom!
His fists thundered like drums.
He struck blow after blow, each one with full force, shattering the air.
Luke mechanically parried each strike, his face first blood-red, then deathly pale, then a deep purple, and finally ashen like gold paper, utterly bloodless. Blood seeped from his seven orifices, and his breath grew faint.
His face suddenly flushed red, and he roared at the young man and woman still locked in battle with the brute tiger, "Run!"
With that, he exhaled his last breath, his body crashing to the ground, dead on the spot.
He had been beaten to death by Feng Lin's fists!
Even after taking the Boiling Blood Elixir, before he could unleash his surging power, he was pummeled to death.
Luke's eyes were wide open, dying with resentment and frustration, filled with unwillingness and humiliation.
Feng Lin stood still, a wave of nausea washing over him from his first kill, but he took a deep breath and suppressed that strange feeling.
"Captain!" the man and woman cried out in disbelief, staring at the scene.
Feng Lin's figure loomed before them, terrifying as a god or demon, like the ancient Li Yuanba reborn or Xiang Yu resurrected, radiating an invincible aura.
Even the hypnotized giant froze, two streams of bloody tears slowly trickling from his dull, lifeless eyes.
Boom!
Feng Lin stomped hard on the ground, launching himself into the air like a rocket.
The young couple was utterly horrified.
The giant shuddered, then suddenly lunged to block Feng Lin's path, his eyes bloodshot and filled with hatred.
Luke's death had shaken him deeply, breaking the hypnosis and restoring his clarity.
"Looking for death!" Feng Lin's eyes turned icy. He formed hand seals with an aura that encompassed heaven and earth, like the collapse of Mount Buzhou turning into a sky-covering seal, pressing down.
The giant blocked for a moment, his spine creaking, his whole body collapsing, but he gritted his teeth, like a dying tiger, summoning his last bit of ferocity. His hands formed claws, locking onto Feng Lin's arms, preventing him from breaking free.
"What are you standing there for? Run! Find the organization and avenge us!" the giant roared, his face covered in blood, at the young man still frozen in place.
"You go! I'll help the brute tiger!" the hawk-eyed man said grimly, charging forward instead of retreating.
The seductive woman's eyes filled with tears as she watched her two comrades charge fearlessly at the demonic figure.
Tears streaming, she turned and fled without hesitation, not wasting the precious escape opportunity her teammates had bought her.
Don't worry, I'll find the organization and avenge you all!
Her heart was already filled with hatred for Feng Lin.
"None of you are getting away!" Feng Lin snorted coldly, activating the Stone Monkey gene. His body hardened like iron, and he slammed into the giant, shattering his arms into useless, dangling pieces.
With a seemingly gentle palm strike to the giant's forehead, a terrifying force erupted in an instant.
The forehead split open, and the three-meter-tall, burly figure crashed down like a mountain, turning into a pile of mangled flesh with brains spilling out.
"Brute Tiger!" Another comrade fell to Feng Lin's hand. The hawk-eyed man went berserk, his eyes flashing red as laser beams shot out. He gripped a beam gun in both hands, firing wildly.
Bullets rained down like a storm.
Feng Lin couldn't dodge in time, but why bother?
If it were outdated metal bullets, he might have been wary, but these energy bullets had no effect on him.
The Stone Monkey gene was immune to energy impacts. Feng Lin pressed his palms together in front of his chest like a shield, maximizing his water-and-fire immunity to block all the energy attacks.
"What?!" The hawk-eyed man gasped, and the next moment, a pair of sword fingers appeared before him, thrusting into his brow.
His vision went black, and his consciousness plunged into endless darkness.
Except for Luke, who had many tricks up his sleeve, Feng Lin struck with each move, one blow per head, each strike a kill.
Feng Lin's gaze swept toward the woman. He blurred and shot after her.
The seductive woman panted heavily, sprinting at full speed, when suddenly her hair stood on end as an overwhelmingly terrifying aura pressed down on her.
She instinctively turned her head and found Feng Lin's face, like a ghost, right behind her, staring coldly.
The woman's face twisted in pleading. "Please, don't kill... me... gurgle..."
Before she could finish, her neck snapped in half, blood bubbling from her throat, cutting off her words into a gurgling leak.
Her beautiful eyes went dull, filled with reluctance to leave the world.
Feng Lin looked at his hands, a beautiful flower crushed to dust, his face expressionless.
On the battlefield, what difference did man or woman make?
Only enemies.
You die, I live!
That was all!
Feng Lin didn't linger. He gathered the four bodies together, set them ablaze, and physically destroyed their identity chips before vanishing into the distance.
He had wiped them all out; no more worries remained!
An hour after he left, a shadow slithered over like a snake. When it saw the charred corpses, it shuddered and let out a wail on the spot.
"Who..."
A group of soldiers in combat armor arrived soon after, staring in shock at the gruesome scene.
"Luke's Iron Blood Squad was one of the top combat squads in our army, and they've been completely wiped out! Only this Snake Man survived! Who did this?"
"Judging by the battle marks, this was a brutal fight! How powerful was their enemy?!"
"The situation in Shitai City is getting more complicated! We need to act decisively! Deal with Giant Pharmaceuticals quickly!"
"You mean...?"
"Exactly! It's time to use the fission particle cannon!"
