The scene inside the classroom was also visible to Fan Yu's aunt. The children with their heads bowed low beside the desks looked exactly like the people in the photo her brother had brought home.
She collapsed to the ground, a terrified expression frozen on her face. Her limbs wouldn't obey her, and she couldn't get up for a long time.
"Don't speak!"
Chen Ge quickly walked over to Fan Yu's aunt, grabbed her arm, and dragged her as he ran toward the building's exit!

When his wife found out, she asked for a divorce, and he killed her. The woman witnessed her brother committing the murder. To avoid being killed herself, she ended up killing her brother."
"Excessive self-defense resulting in death?" Captain Li immediately grasped the key point.
"If that were really the case, this woman should have called the police immediately. But after the murder, she handled the scene herself. This happened three years ago, and now it's her word against nothing. Everything I know is what she told me." Chen Ge pointed at Fan Yu's aunt: "We can't rule out the possibility that she's lying."

"Secure the scene first. We'll start digging once the follow-up team brings the tools." Captain Li didn't need Chen Ge's reminder; he had already called and arranged everything.
At 2:15, the follow-up team arrived with tools. Captain Li directed the scene, assigning each person their area of responsibility before starting the excavation.
Chen Ge also grabbed a shovel to help. He dug with great effort, and many officers were somewhat moved seeing an outsider work so hard.
Around 3 a.m., the deep well on the back hill was finally found.
At 4:30 a.m., the wellhead was dug open, and the police retrieved the two bodies inside.

Putting down his iron shovel, Chen Ge found a secluded spot and opened the message to check.
