Chapter 35: Chapter 35: Blew a Flying Kiss

Before the massive floor-to-ceiling window, a man in a long black trench coat stood tall and straight, his youthful strength evident in his imposing figure. His dark attire exuded mystery and cold allure, his sharp gaze fixed on the distant sea view, his thin lips slightly pursed.

Han Chong looked at his disguised face. "Young master, are you going out?"

"Going out to handle some business. You stay here and keep watch."

The man put on his watch, his long, well-defined fingers lightly tapping the surface to adjust it to automatic positioning mode.

Before leaving, he suddenly thought of something. "If I don't make it back tonight, find a way to keep it from her."

"Yes."

The man walked to a corner of the bedroom, raised his hand, and turned the decorative lamp in front of him. A faint mechanical sound slowly emerged as a section of the floor suddenly sank, revealing a hidden passage just big enough for one person.

"Be careful on your way, young master."

The man acknowledged with a grunt and quickly jumped down the passage.

Once he was down, Han Chong turned the lamp back to its original position. The passage closed with a click, leaving the polished floor without a trace.

It was the morning rush hour, and the bus was packed shoulder to shoulder. An Ruo finally found a seat and sat down, rubbing her sore legs.

A black sports car sped down the road. On this modest stretch of highway, seeing such a luxurious supercar drew envious glances from everyone on the bus.

As the black car overtook the bus, the window slowly rolled down, and the man's deep gaze locked onto the girl sitting by the window.

An Ruo glanced over inadvertently and found the man in the sports car staring at her, his eyes direct, provocative, and full of amusement.

Their eyes met, and the man's thin lips curled into a meaningful, wicked smile...

An Ruo froze for a moment. His looks weren't even half as good as Shen Xiaoxing's, but that sinister smile... was somewhat intriguing.

Suddenly, the women in the bus screamed because the man in the black sports car blew a kiss in their direction.

Though she didn't know who he was kissing, An Ruo, feeling guilty, quickly turned her face away. She had a strange feeling that this unfamiliar man was targeting her.

As the women lamented, An Ruo watched the sports car speed off into the distance and finally let out a sigh of relief.

Blue Zhen Group.

An Ruo arrived at the company and first reported to HR. A group of them were assigned to learn under a seasoned planning department supervisor.

Each person had their own independent workspace. An Ruo mused that, to be fair, the big company treated its interns quite well.

As a newcomer, to quickly integrate into Blue Zhen, she first needed to understand the company's development history.

The supervisor in charge brought over several stacks of documents and distributed them. An Ruo diligently reviewed Blue Zhen's recent development trends and targeted regional goals.

She had a photographic memory; as long as she focused, she could memorize everything within half an hour.

"Supervisor Bai, where's my spot?" A frivolous, arrogant female voice cut through the silent planning department.

An Ruo looked up at the sound and saw the rude, fashionable woman from yesterday.

Supervisor Bai walked over. "Little miss, being late on your first day is one thing, but waltzing in through the front door like this? Do you really think Blue Zhen is your home?"

The woman shot him a disdainful glance, twirling her blue-dyed wavy hair with her fingers. "I'm not here to work, so why should I follow the same rules as everyone else?"

"Hurry up and find me a comfortable desk."

Supervisor Bai had no choice but to half-push, half-coax her to her designated workspace.

She didn't even glance at the documents handed to her, instead covering her desk with cosmetics. Her arrogant behavior left Supervisor Bai helpless.

"Hey, why is Supervisor Bai so deferential to her? Who is she?"

"You don't know? She's the heiress of the Zhou Group. She's not like us—she's here for our CEO Gu. Basically, she's just here to experience life."

"Look at how arrogant she is. Doesn't anyone rein her in?"

"Who dares? She's got connections. Offend the Zhou family, and you're asking for trouble."

"You said she's here for CEO Gu. Why?"

"Our CEO Gu is young and accomplished, handsome and charismatic. What do you think?"

"Oh~ I get it."

An Ruo hadn't meant to eavesdrop, but her desk was close, so she couldn't help overhearing their entire conversation.

The arrogant woman was holding a mirror, touching up her lipstick. Hearing their chatter, she shot a cold glare. "You like gossiping so much? Want me to cut out your tongues?"

The employees immediately buried themselves in their work, not daring to discuss her further.

Zhou Mingyue's eyes swept over and landed on An Ruo, who was diligently reading the documents. She smirked coldly and called out, "Supervisor Bai."

Supervisor Bai, who had barely caught a break, rushed over. "What now?"

"How can your company hire just any riffraff?"

Supervisor Bai looked around, confused. "Miss Zhou, who are you talking about?"

"That new girl, dressed so tacky. Does she deserve to sit in the same office as me?"

"These are all arranged by Director Ding. I can't really—"

"I don't care. She's an eyesore. Fire her or transfer her to another department."

"This... the planning department isn't under my control."
