"What's going on? Why did I suddenly come into the space?" Ye Lanshan asked Huntian, puzzled.
"Oh, it's like this—Ye Yu woke up," Huntian replied casually.
"How is that possible? The medicine I gave him back then should have lasted at least until next year. Why did he wake up early?" Ye Lanshan was confused.
"Do you think our space is just any ordinary place? The mystic energy here is so abundant, and I've been occasionally feeding him some spirit spring water. It's perfectly normal for him to wake up ahead of time."
Huntian paused, then continued, "And you—if you have nothing to do, come to the space more often to cultivate. Look how long it's been, and you're still stuck at the third-rank Grand Mystic Master. Even if you're worried about Ye Yu's meridians, you can't neglect your own cultivation like this."
Ye Lanshan nodded absentmindedly and said, "I know. Take me to see Ye Yu."
"Ye Yu, how are you feeling now?" Ye Lanshan asked as soon as she saw him. "Are your meridians still hurting like before?"
Ye Yu was a bit dazed. He shook his head mechanically and said, "Much better," then continued pondering the dream he'd had.
"What's wrong? Do you want some water? I'll get you some." Ye Lanshan was worried seeing him so blank.
"I'm fine. I just had a dream recently—someone was teaching me a sword technique. It was strange; it seemed useless at first, but it actually had immense power."
Ye Lanshan thought for a while but couldn't figure it out, so she simply comforted him, "This is your opportunity. You must seize it well."
Then a flash of insight struck her—she herself wasn't originally from this world. Could this have something to do with her? But after careful thought, she dismissed it as impossible, since the sword technique he described was something she'd never heard of.
In truth, no one knew that a magnetic field existed throughout the entire world. If someone collided with this field, and it formed a positive-negative electric field with their own innate magnetic field, they could travel to another world.
Of course, aside from this method, there was another: if one's personal power was strong enough to tear open space, they could also go to another world. However, no one had ever been known to tear open space to reach another world—except Ye Lanshan, who was an exception.
"Are you hungry? How about I bring you something to eat?" After a long silence, Ye Lanshan said something that didn't match the mood.
Ye Yu was still lost in thought, recalling his dream, when he heard her words. He quickly replied, "Miss, I'm not hungry. No need to trouble yourself."
Ye Lanshan didn't answer him, just muttered to herself, "You've been asleep for so many days, you must be hungry. Wait here a moment, I'll get you some food."
Before Ye Yu could say anything else, she vanished from the space.
When she appeared in her room, Liu Jing had already rushed out looking for her, and no one else noticed, so no one saw her suddenly appear. She slowly went downstairs, called for the waiter, and ordered the food she'd requested to be prepared and brought to her room.
When Ye Lanshan re-entered the space, Ye Yu noticed something was wrong with her eyes.
At that moment, Ye Lanshan seemed unable to see the bowl clearly. She fumbled around for a while before picking it up.
"Miss, what's wrong with your eyes?" Ye Yu asked, worried by her condition.
"Oh, it's nothing. Just temporary blindness," Ye Lanshan said, unconcerned.
"Blindness? How did that happen?" Ye Yu grew anxious, struggling to get up and check her eyes.
Though Ye Lanshan was blind, she could still make out some light and shadows. Sensing Ye Yu's struggle, she quickly went over to hold him down and said, "It's fine. It'll recover in a few days. Right now, your meridians are what matter."
"Huntian, help me serve this soup," Ye Lanshan instructed while calming Ye Yu down.
"Try this soup first. It has some miraculous effects on meridians and should make you feel better," she said to Ye Yu.
After watching Ye Yu finish the soup, she felt relieved and left the space again.
As soon as she exited, Liu Jing arrived. He hadn't expected to run into her right away, and his eyes lit up with surprise when he saw her.
"Where did you go?" he asked, a hint of reproach in his tone.
Ye Lanshan made up a random excuse: "I went to check the place where I met you."
Liu Jing was taken aback. "Why would you go there?"
She just vaguely replied, "Something came up," and didn't elaborate.
"Father, you have to avenge me!" Yun Di sobbed and wailed in front of his father, Yun Fan.
"What happened?" Yun Fan asked sternly, addressing the attendant beside Yun Di.
Yun Di quickly signaled the attendant, who understood and prepared to twist the story, putting all the blame on the other party.
Yun Fan rubbed his tired eyes, a flicker of disappointment in his heart. He knew exactly what kind of person Yun Di was—as his father, he was well aware.
The truth was probably not as the attendant described. That brat had likely taken a fancy to someone and harassed her, only to get beaten up in return. Still, a beating might teach him a lesson.
"I understand. Go rest now." Yun Fan made no further comment, simply waving his hand to dismiss Yun Di.
Yun Di stared at his father in disbelief. "Father, are we just letting this go?"
At that, Yun Fan could no longer contain his surging anger. He smashed the teacup on the table in front of Yun Di and roared, "Don't I know you? If you hadn't harassed them first, would they have touched you? Look at what you've become!"
"Lazing around all day, doing nothing, harassing decent women, and now lying through your teeth. Do you know why I never take you to banquets? Because I can't show my face—it's too shameful!"
"Ah!" Yun Fan sighed, looking as if he'd aged several years, and said wearily, "Forget it, I won't say any more. Go on, leave."
A flash of hatred and mockery passed through Yun Di's eyes, but it vanished in an instant. He obediently retreated to his own room.
The next day, Ye Lanshan waited until Liu Jing wasn't paying attention and slipped into the space. By then, Ye Yu was doing warm-up exercises, his complexion far better than when he'd first woken up. His eyes were bright again, his cheeks rosy, and the sickly look from before was completely gone.
"How is it?" Ye Lanshan felt a bit less worried seeing Ye Yu like this, but she still needed to find Sikong Kuang quickly. Just thinking about him made her feel irritable again.
