Bai Tang's smile remained unchanged, but she sensed a surge of killing intent!
Meeting Sheng Qi's sinister gaze, Bai Tang raised an eyebrow at him, grinning with a wicked air: "Handsome, I reflected so deeply—do I get a reward?"
Sheng Qi stared coldly: "Reward? How about rewarding you by washing all the cars in the garage?"
Bai Tang: "..."
Do you have OCD or what?!
Who the hell washes their car every day?!
The onlookers nearby were all curiously eyeing the self-criticism letter in Sheng Qi's hand.
So, what exactly was written in it?
Chu Yi shot a glance at Chu Er, signaling him to sneak around behind Sheng Qi and take a peek.
In response, You Yu and Xiao Xi silently cheered Chu Er on, indicating they'd help distract Sheng Qi.
Chu Er raised his hand, made an OK gesture, and ended the silent exchange.
Carefully circling around, Chu Er approached Sheng Qi, leaning sideways and craning his neck to try and see the contents of the letter.
The moment his eyes swept over the words "self-criticism letter," Sheng Qi dropped his hand, turned around, and fixed a chilling stare on Chu Er, who was frozen in an awkward pose. That look was bone-deep cold.
Chu Er nervously swallowed a gulp of saliva, stumbled to stand upright, and flashed a fawning smile, stammering from fear: "B-boss..."
"Enjoying the view?" Sheng Qi asked darkly.
Chu Er felt like crying but had no tears, desperately looking to Chu Yi and the other two for help. Yet, to his dismay, they almost in unison averted their gazes and stared at the sky, acting like they had no idea who he was.
Chu Er cursed under his breath but had to tremble as he spoke: "Boss, I didn't see anything."
"Since you're so capable, you can handle the cleaning of all the cars in the club for the next month!" Sheng Qi said coldly.
Chu Er: "..."
Hearing this, Bai Tang thought it was a great idea!
At least that way, she wouldn't have to wash them anymore.
Bai Tang raised her hand and clapped: "The handsome's right!"
Sheng Qi shot her a cold glare, and Bai Tang smiled, slowly lowering her hand.
Tsk tsk tsk, men—so moody!
Can't even let her compliment him!
Chu Er felt this was way too unfair—why was he the only one being punished?
If he was going down, he'd drag three others with him!!!
They were all brothers—if one dies, everyone dies!
"Boss, they wanted to see it too!" Chu Er pointed in the direction of Chu Yi and the other two.
When he turned to look, the three were nowhere to be seen from where they'd been standing.
Sheng Qi stared coldly at Chu Er, exuding authority without anger.
Chu Er glanced around in utter confusion.
Damn it, those three!!!
The three who had already hidden away calmly high-fived each other.
In a situation like this, better to sacrifice Chu Er as cannon fodder than have all four of them suffer!
Sheng Qi's gaze fell back on Bai Tang: "Write it again until I'm satisfied!"
"I wrote it so well, what's there for you to be unsatisfied about?" Bai Tang asked.
"So, you're not planning to rewrite it?" Sheng Qi frowned, his eyes dangerous.
Bai Tang thought it was the best reflection possible.
"Handsome, I need to learn—writing self-criticism all the time is such a waste of time!" Bai Tang grinned at him. "So, let's skip it, okay?"
Sheng Qi took a deep breath, glanced down at the self-criticism letter in his hand, and instinctively tightened his grip—he really wanted to smack her!
In the end, he relented: "Get lost!"
Bai Tang grinned, raised both hands, curved them into a heart shape above her head: "Handsome, sending you a heart!"
Sheng Qi's face stayed cold, and Bai Tang quickly made her exit.
Zhang Xiaochu watched the scene, feeling deeply resentful. He had to rewrite his, so why did that girl get off with just one word?
This double standard was seriously infuriating!
