Bai Tang's gaze swept across the fierce-looking men before her, finally landing on Bai Chengfeng, who sat on the sofa. A smirk curled at the corner of her mouth, tinged with sarcasm and arrogance. "Are you coming one by one, or all at once?"
As she spoke, Bai Tang leisurely removed the bandage from her neck and tossed the splint fixing her right arm to the ground. She'd said she didn't need that splint, but that beauty had insisted on wasting medical resources.
Bai Chengfeng frowned instinctively at her actions. Unable to hold back, he scolded, "Look at yourself now. What are you? As the eldest daughter of the Bai family, you're acting like a street thug. You've disgraced the ancestors of the Bai family!"
"Look at Xi'er, then look at yourself—you're utterly hopeless, a piece of rotten wood that can't be carved!"
Bai Tang raised an eyebrow, casually picking at her ear with a roguish air. "Eldest daughter of the Bai family? Your memory's failing, isn't it?"
"We've already severed our father-daughter relationship. And now, my new identity is the president of the Bai Group. I couldn't care less about being the eldest daughter of the Bai family!"
Bai Chengfeng's face turned ashen, especially seeing Bai Tang's nonchalant smile, which only fueled his anger. "I don't want to argue with you today. If you don't want me to use force, you'll come with me to the hospital right now and apologize to Second Young Master Feng!"
He stared coldly at her, issuing an unquestioning command.
Bai Tang let out a light laugh, the sound dripping with undisguised sarcasm and mockery. "Apologize? Does he have the face for it? Is he worthy?"
Bai Chengfeng was furious. "Bai Tang, don't force me to get rough with you."
"With those old bones of yours, aren't you afraid they'll fall apart?" Bai Tang shot back.
Bai Chengfeng's expression had soured to its limit, and the group of bodyguards standing nearby were stunned speechless by Bai Tang's words. Was this girl asking to die without a burial? Provoking Bai Chengfeng like this—was she really not afraid of getting beaten to death?
"I don't care if you're willing or not. Tonight, you're coming with me to the hospital to apologize to Second Young Master Feng!" Bai Chengfeng glared at her. "Bai Tang, you're going whether you like it or not! I won't allow this nonsense!"
Bai Tang gave a wicked grin. "It seems you really didn't hear me clearly. He's not worthy! And neither are you!"
Seeing Bai Chengfeng's grim face, she continued, "While I'm in a good mood, get lost!"
Bai Chengfeng, enraged, ordered his subordinates, "Seize her!"
The moment the words left his mouth, two bodyguards stepped forward to restrain Bai Tang. But before they could act, Bai Tang kicked each of them to the ground with a single blow. Watching them sprawled on the floor, Bai Chengfeng's face darkened. Useless trash.
Bai Tang scoffed. "Come at me all at once!"
The remaining bodyguards didn't hold back, charging at Bai Tang together. Bai Chengfeng watched coldly, eager to teach this disobedient daughter a harsh lesson, to make her understand the consequences of defiance.
Yet, as the group of bodyguards rushed in, Bai Tang dodged with agile precision. With swift punches and kicks, one by one, they all hit the floor. Bai Chengfeng's eyes widened in shock. He never imagined that this rebellious daughter, who looked like a thug, would fight like one too. The bodyguards he'd summoned seemed as helpless as weak girls, utterly no match for Bai Tang.
In just a few minutes, everyone was down, and the living room was a mess. Bai Tang flexed her arms; her right hand ached slightly, but it was bearable. She turned to Bai Chengfeng, curling her lips into a cocky grin. "Want to take a shot yourself?"
