Chapter 173: Chapter 173: Are You Lying in the Morgue Right Now?

Bai Tang smiled wickedly. "Apologize?"

She walked closer to him and placed the flowers directly on the bedside table.

"Ah-choo!"

Feng Zi sneezed, finally noticing the flowers, his face turning ugly.

"Get those flowers out of here!" Feng Zi roared.

But Bai Tang laughed cheerfully. "I bought these flowers early this morning to visit you. You should be happy!"

Feng Zi glared at her smile, furious enough to jump out of the hospital bed and hit her, but as soon as he moved, the wound pulled, making him gasp in pain.

"Take them away!" Feng Zi roared again.

He felt an itch spreading across his body and reached out to scratch.

Seeing this, Bai Tang picked up the flowers she had set down and thrust them directly at Feng Zi. "They just arrived at the flower shop today, so fresh. Smell them—how fragrant!"

Feng Zi kept backing away, but Bai Tang shoved the flowers into his arms.

As if holding something dangerous, Feng Zi quickly threw the bouquet away, but Bai Tang caught it again.

He was about to curse at Bai Tang, but the unbearable itching spread all over his body. Soon, rashes broke out everywhere, and he could only scratch frantically.

Bai Tang smiled and asked, "What's wrong with you?"

Feng Zi stared at her, his face now covered in red rashes, completely unrecognizable.

He was severely allergic to pollen, and this damn girl had brought such a potent bouquet of fresh flowers in.

Feng Zi was too miserable to bother finding fault with Bai Tang, his hands frantically scratching his body.

Bai Tang smiled gently. "What's wrong? Could it be pollen allergy?"

Feng Zi glared at her and reached for the call button. Bai Tang directly placed the flowers on top of it, and Feng Zi quickly pulled his hand back.

"Bai Tang, just you wait. Once I'm out of the hospital, I'll fucking kill you!" Feng Zi roared.

"Feng Zi, do you think if I had used a little more force yesterday, you'd be lying in the morgue right now?"

Feng Zi was scratching all over, too distracted to focus on arguing with Bai Tang.

But Bai Tang smiled cheerfully, set down the flowers, and then reached out to pull the blanket off Feng Zi.

Both his legs were in casts, and one arm was immobilized.

Bai Tang smiled. "Looks like you'll be able to get back on the track in a few months."

Feng Zi looked at her, a strange unease creeping into his heart.

Especially seeing the smile on the young girl's face, the ominous feeling grew stronger.

"What do you want?" Feng Zi asked warily, his voice tinged with coldness.

His assistant had gone downstairs to buy him breakfast, so no one was around. Who knew what this woman might do to him?

Bai Tang chuckled. "I don't want to do anything. I'm just thinking—should I cripple your legs? Or make it worse, so you have to lie here for a few more months?"

"You wouldn't dare!" Feng Zi shouted angrily. "Bai Tang, if you touch me, I'll make sure every member of the Bai family suffers!"

Bai Tang smiled. "I want the Bai family to suffer too. Perfect, thanks for the help!"

"You!!!" Feng Zi was so furious he couldn't speak.

Bai Tang's gaze fell on the stool nearby. Just as she was about to move, her phone rang.

She stopped, glanced at the caller ID on the screen, raised an eyebrow slightly, then looked at Feng Zi and answered the call. "Hello?"

"Where are you?" Sheng Qi's cold voice came through.

"At school!"

"Oh, really?"

"Of course. Why would I lie to you?" Bai Tang said with a smile.

"Nurse, come to my room and throw this person out!" Feng Zi said coldly, taking advantage of Bai Tang's distraction to throw the flowers away and press the call button.

Sheng Qi: "...School?"

Bai Tang: "..."

Motherfucker.
