Sheng Qi turned his head and met a face full of playful amusement.
Watching Sheng Qi coldly withdraw his gaze, Bai Tang grinned and continued, "What do you think of him? You haven't given your verdict yet!"
"Focus on your studies and stop thinking about nonsense!" Sheng Qi warned.
Bai Tang laughed. "If you won't judge, then I will!"
"I think Sheng Qi, though a bit secretly smug at times, is gorgeous!"
"Even if he's sharp-tongued, he's handsome!"
"Even if he's cold and unapproachable, he's got top-tier looks!"
"With his mix of handsome and beautiful, I can slap on a thick filter and overlook all those flaws!"
Bai Tang blinked her starry eyes at him. "To sum it up, I think he's just right. What do you think?"
Sheng Qi parked the car at the school gate and said flatly, "Focus in class! After school, come to the club for tutoring!"

The professional fake smile on Bai Tang's lips grew even more perfect. "Mr. Sheng, let me ask you something. Have you ever been in a relationship before?"
Sheng Qi frowned. "What are you getting at?"
"Heh heh..." Bai Tang laughed. "Looks like that's a no!"
Sheng Qi stared at her coldly, exuding authority without anger.
"Then you're probably doomed to die alone!"
With that, Bai Tang got out of the car and walked toward the school without looking back.
Sheng Qi turned his head, his gaze landing on the girl who walked with a lazy, carefree stride. His lips tightened involuntarily, and his hands gripping the steering wheel clenched hard.

His phone rang, pulling Sheng Qi back from his thoughts. Seeing it was Chu Yi calling, he answered, his voice icy. "What's up?"
Chu Yi paused, wondering who had gotten on the boss's bad side so early in the morning. Bai Tang? No way, she's at school!
"Boss, the info you asked me to look into is ready," Chu Yi said with a very polite tone.
"Speak."
A single cold word made it clear Sheng Qi was in a terrible mood.
Chu Yi nervously swallowed and continued, "That person is called Bai Wu, from the Bai family!"
"Bai family?" Sheng Qi frowned.
Chu Yi explained, "Not Bai Chengfeng's people. It's the Bai family, one of the Italian Ximu families."
When Sheng Qi didn't respond, Chu Yi went on, "Bai Wu used to be a servant in the Bai family, but ten years ago, after the Bai family fell into trouble, Bai Wu went from a small bodyguard straight to becoming the head of the Bai family. His life is basically a cheat-code-level rise!"
"Bodyguard?" Sheng Qi's brow furrowed deeply. "Whose bodyguard?"
"The bodyguard of Bai Ye, the former head of the Bai family. But ten years ago, Bai Ye passed away, and then this little bodyguard took over the Bai family and became the current head."
Sheng Qi frowned. "I'll talk when I get back."
He hung up and drove off directly.
