As soon as Bai Tang left school after class, she saw Bai Wu waiting for her at the gate.
"Didn't I tell you I had tutoring? Why are you here?" Bai Tang asked.
Bai Wu took her backpack without a fuss and said with a smile, "I'm your bodyguard, so naturally I have to escort you there."
He glanced at the sling around her neck and asked with some concern, "Should we go to the hospital to get that checked?"
"I think it's healing well. I can have it off tomorrow!" Bai Tang lifted her right hand slightly and couldn't help but sigh, "This thing really kills my vibe!"
Bai Wu complimented her seriously, "It's a pretty unique look!"
Bai Tang gave a faint, teasing smile. "What exactly have you been through these days?"
Bai Wu: "..."
"How long does the tutoring take?" Bai Wu changed the subject.
Bai Tang couldn't help but laugh out loud, then said, "Usually two or three hours, maybe a bit more."
"You can drop me off and head back first. I'll come home on my own later."
"I'll wait for you."
"No need!" Bai Tang refused. "I'll have the big shot give me a ride."
Bai Wu paused for a moment, then nodded.
He drove her to the club, parked the car, and helped carry her backpack as they walked in together.
Just as they reached Sheng Qi's office, Chu Er came out from inside. Seeing Bai Tang, he greeted her with a smile, "Sister-in-law, here for tutoring from the boss again?"
Bai Tang nodded.
Chu Er's gaze shifted to Bai Wu.
Noticing the backpack in Bai Wu's hand, his eyes finally settled on Bai Wu's strikingly handsome face. Curious, he asked, "And this gentleman is?"
"My good friend, Bai Wu," Bai Tang said with a smile.
Chu Er was momentarily taken aback. Good friend?

Chu Er smiled at Bai Wu, then pulled Bai Tang aside by the arm and lowered his voice, "Sister-in-law, this isn't the boss's love rival, is it?"
Bai Tang smirked. "Guess."
"Sister-in-law, you can't do this. The boss would be heartbroken!" Chu Er looked at her with a reproachful expression.
Bai Tang rolled her eyes. "You're overthinking it. He wouldn't be."
"Wouldn't be what?"
The office door suddenly swung open.
Bai Tang was startled, then turned to see Sheng Qi standing in the doorway. A smile instantly lit up her face. "Teacher Sheng, good afternoon!"
Sheng Qi gave her a blank look, then his gaze shifted to Bai Wu standing nearby, his brows furrowing deeply.
Bai Wu calmly met his displeased eyes.
Sheng Qi quickly looked away, focusing back on Bai Tang. "Take your backpack and come in. Everyone else can wait outside!"
Bai Wu: "..."
Hmph!
Bai Tang walked over to Bai Wu, took her backpack from him, and gestured for him to leave quickly.
Bai Wu watched as Bai Tang scurried into the office behind Sheng Qi, his mouth twitching.
Miss, do you have to be like this?
The office door closed. Bai Tang walked to the desk, took out her homework, and arranged it neatly. "Which subject are we starting with today?"
Sheng Qi stared at her intently, his gaze dangerous and probing.
"Big shot, when you look at me like that, I get a little nervous," Bai Tang said in a half-joking tone.
"Nervous about what?" Sheng Qi asked.
"Afraid you'll hit me."
"What guilty conscience do you have?"
Bai Tang chuckled. "How could I!"
Sheng Qi stared at her for a full three minutes before asking coolly, "Do you know Bai Wu's real identity?"
