Sheng Qi stared at her expressionlessly for a few seconds, then turned and walked away without a word.
Bai Tang curled her lips and laughed at his retreating back. "Pretty boy, I'm not going to bully you. What are you running from?"
Sheng Qi paused mid-step, then turned back to look at her again.
That probing gaze made Bai Tang wonder if she had teased him a little too much.
Was he about to turn hostile?
Even Chu Yi could clearly sense the dangerous aura radiating from his boss.

It seemed that even though the girl survived the street race tonight, she might not be far from death now!

"I'm going to chase you!" Zhang Xiaochu insisted.
Bai Tang turned slightly to face him. "It's useless!"
"Aren't you just looking down on me for my bad grades? But my grades are better than yours!"
Bai Tang's mouth twitched. "You really know how to find a sense of superiority. Do you think beating the last place is something to be proud of?"
"That still proves I'm at least a little bit smarter than you!" Zhang Xiaochu said stubbornly.
His two lackeys silently complained: Chu Ge, could you please have a little self-respect? Being second-to-last is really not something to be proud of!
Chu Yi, however, was thinking to himself: Boss, the girl you don't want is now someone else's treasure!

"When are we going to race?" Zhang Xiaochu changed the subject.
"Race what?" Bai Tang asked. "Fight?"
