Bai Tang turned to face the black-clad thug, exuding a rogueish aura: "How do you want to die?"
"Hah!" The black-clad thug sneered. "You really think finding a man to back you up makes you invincible? We'll take you both out today!"
Bai Tang curled her lips into a sinister smile. "Eleven thousand should be enough to keep you four in the hospital for a few months."
Bai Xi'er glared at Bai Tang, unable to believe she dared to bring up the eleven thousand again!
The four thugs were now fully enraged by Bai Tang.
How dare she so blatantly disregard their authority!
This outright provocation was utterly intolerable!
"Get them!" the black-clad thug roared.
The three underlings raised their clubs and swung them swiftly toward Bai Tang.
Bai Tang grabbed Sheng Qi's hand, yanking him aside, then kicked the nearest black-clad thug to the ground. She followed up with a reverse kick to the one behind her.
Sheng Qi dodged an attack from the side, ready to counter, but the girl holding his hand pulled him closer. She then wrapped her free arm around his neck, leaped into the air, and kicked another opponent to the ground.
After landing, she didn't let go of his neck. Instead, she flashed him a brilliant smile. "Wasn't that a cool move from your Tangtang?"
Sheng Qi frowned, about to speak, when he saw a club swinging toward Bai Tang's back. Instinctively, he pulled her aside and kicked the attacker away.
Bai Tang beamed at Sheng Qi, half-hanging on him. "Beautiful, you're amazing!"
Sheng Qi: "...Shut up!!!"
"Beautiful, you better protect your Tangtang well!" Bai Tang hugged him, nuzzling her head into his chest.
Sheng Qi took a deep breath, grinding his teeth. "Do you want me to chop off your hand?"
"Chop what? Even if you like it, you can't be so violent!" Bai Tang looked up at him. "You promised to hold my hand for twenty-four hours."
"Let go!" Sheng Qi warned.
"They're going to hit me. You have to protect me. I'm scared!" Bai Tang was hamming it up.
Sheng Qi glanced at the four thugs sprawled on the ground, unable to get up. His face darkened as he looked at the drama queen. He grabbed her hand from around his neck and forcefully pulled it off.
Bai Tang stood up straight but didn't let go of his hand.
"Let go!"
"Didn't you say you wanted to hold it all the time?" Bai Tang looked at him innocently.
Sheng Qi pried her fingers off one by one.
Seeing him about to fume, Bai Tang's smile widened, tinged with mockery. "See? A man's mouth is a liar's trap. You just said it, and now you're already backtracking!"
Bai Tang let go, and Sheng Qi walked away.
The four on the ground were in so much pain from the kicks that even breathing hurt. As Sheng Qi left, Bai Tang's gaze fell on them again.
The eerie smile on her lips sent a chill down their spines.
"Come on, get up and keep going!"
Bai Tang spoke lazily. "Weren't you just shouting so loudly? I'm just flirting with a guy, and you can't stop yapping!"
Her thuggish demeanor made her look more like a gangster than they did.
The four recalled the swift kicks they'd endured, and the pain intensified. They stayed on the ground, unmoving.
Who would've thought this frail-looking girl could be so ruthless that they couldn't even withstand a single move?
Bai Xi'er glared angrily at the four on the ground, wanting to order them up, but with Sheng Qi still nearby, she dared not speak.
Bai Tang bent down, picked up a club, and casually rested it on her shoulder. Her gaze shifted to Bai Xi'er. "They're all down. Want to take your turn?"
Bai Xi'er instinctively stepped back, genuinely afraid of Bai Tang.
Who knew these four would be such useless trash, unable to even beat Bai Tang!
As Bai Tang approached, Bai Xi'er weakly shouted toward Sheng Qi's retreating figure, "Mr. Sheng, save me!"
