Chapter 93: Chapter 93: Where Are the Newly Recruited Drivers?

Sheng Qi looked at the man before him, finding it ironic how the other's domineering words contrasted with his current humble demeanor.

"Sorry, I haven't had any time lately!" Sheng Qi refused outright.

Feng Zi smiled. "Then when would Mr. Sheng be available?"

Sheng Qi's expression remained blank as he directly issued a dismissal. "If Mr. Feng is looking for someone to compete with, there are plenty outside. I won't see you out!"

"But I believe the only one who can be my opponent is Mr. Sheng!" Feng Zi insisted, a hint of madness in his eyes.

Sheng Qi just stared at him, his emotions showing no fluctuation at all.

"I'm sorry, but I can't agree to that," Sheng Qi said.

Feng Zi understood that even if he talked himself hoarse today, Sheng Qi would never agree.

He wasn't in a hurry, though—after all, there was plenty of time.

Feng Zi smiled nonchalantly, then stood up and walked to the floor-to-ceiling window, looking out at the track where someone was training.

Feng Zi stared at the cars on the track and said with a smile, "I heard yesterday that Mr. Sheng recruited a few more pretty skilled drivers. I wonder if I'd have the honor of sparring with them a bit?"

Sheng Qi looked at him, his expression indifferent. "They're just a few rookies. Compared to a professional racer like Mr. Feng, they still have a long way to go."

"That's perfect—I can give them some pointers," Feng Zi said with a grin.

"No need," Sheng Qi refused directly.

Though Sheng Qi didn't know what Feng Zi was really thinking now, he understood the man well enough.

Once on the track, his opponent's situation would become extremely dangerous.

Letting him "give pointers" might end up causing some kind of trouble.

For a lunatic like this, Sheng Qi didn't want to bother.

With Sheng Qi's refusal, Feng Zi paused for a moment, then burst out laughing. "Mr. Sheng might have some misunderstanding about me. I came here with very friendly intentions."

To be honest, Feng Zi was quite annoyed inside. Sheng Qi's stubbornness and blunt rejection made him want to lose his temper.

"Since Mr. Sheng doesn't want to compete with me or let me guide your men, then I wonder if Mr. Sheng has time to give me a tour of your club?" Feng Zi said with a perfectly composed smile.

Sheng Qi instinctively wanted to refuse, but he knew that if he kicked the man out now, he'd be back tomorrow.

It was better to indulge him today and avoid future trouble.

Sheng Qi wasn't afraid of the power behind Feng Zi, but that didn't mean he enjoyed this daily harassment.

"Fine," Sheng Qi said flatly.

Sheng Qi led him around the place, and Feng Zi fully displayed his talkativeness, his words brimming with praise for Sheng Qi and admiration for the venue.

Sheng Qi tuned it all out, not responding at all, as aloof as could be.

Feng Zi didn't mind, keeping up a steady stream of chatter while his eyes scanned the surroundings.

Soon, they reached the track. Feng Zi's gaze fell on two cars training and commented, "Those two drivers are pretty impressive."

Sheng Qi gave a cold "Mm" without adding anything.

Feng Zi glanced around but didn't see who he was looking for. He smiled again and asked, "Where are the few new drivers Mr. Sheng recruited yesterday?"

Just as Sheng Qi was about to brush it off, he saw Zhang Xiaochu and Bai Tang's cars return from the track. They stopped and got out.

Feng Zi watched closely, having just noticed their solid driving skills and considering poaching them.

Then he saw the woman stepping out of the silver car.
