Feng Zi stared at her, stunned by the sudden aura and oppressive pressure emanating from Bai Tang.
Looking into Bai Tang's icy eyes, a flicker of shock passed through Feng Zi's gaze.
For a split second, it felt as though he saw someone else through those cold, murderous eyes!
Feng Zi swallowed nervously, his expression somewhat dazed.
But in an instant, he snapped back to reality.
That person was already dead; the girl before him was not her!
Feng Zi regained his composure, a mocking smile returning to his face as he reached out to pull her hand away. Unexpectedly, Bai Tang held on tight, and with a yank, she tore a corner of his collar, the fabric pressing against his neck and leaving a red mark.
Feng Zi winced in pain, a hint of malice flashing in his eyes. "Let go!"
"Where is he?" Bai Tang said coldly, tightening her grip on his collar.
Feng Zi's neck ached from the pressure. Frowning, he grabbed Bai Tang's wrist and warned through gritted teeth, "Let go!"
"Where is he?" Bai Tang didn't release him, her murderous intent palpable. "Don't test my patience!"
"Oh? And what?" Feng Zi raised an eyebrow, sneering. "You think you can actually kill me?"
Bai Tang stared at him coldly, her presence overwhelming. "Try me!"
Feng Zi froze again, staring at Bai Tang with a few seconds of distraction and shock.
So similar, truly similar!
Not only did she look exactly the same, but more importantly, the aura radiating from her at this moment was too alike!
If he weren't certain that person was dead, he would have believed the girl before him was her!
A sudden jolt of pain snapped Feng Zi back to reality.
"Ugh..." Feng Zi grunted, clutching his stomach where Bai Tang had just kicked him, the pain making him suck in a sharp breath.
"You dare hit me!" Feng Zi gritted his teeth, looking up to glare at Bai Tang.
Bai Tang said nothing, grabbing his collar and punching him square in the stomach.
"Bai Tang, you—"
Feng Zi doubled over in pain, barely able to stand straight.
Bai Tang yanked him back up, staring coldly. "Where is he?"
Feng Zi took a moment to recover before straightening up, his face dark as he prepared to strike back. But Bai Tang was faster, seizing his right hand and twisting it behind his back in a swift motion.
Feng Zi: "..."
Damn it!!!
Pinned like this, Feng Zi's face turned green!
He never imagined he'd be completely outmatched by a girl!
Feng Zi struggled, but the pain in his arm flared.
His hands were his most valuable asset; even in his fury, he had to be cautious!
"I'll take you to him!" Feng Zi said, his voice grim.
Bai Tang's expression remained cold as she shoved him away.
Feng Zi stumbled a few steps before steadying himself, rubbing his shoulder as he glared at Bai Tang, his face utterly sour.
As they got into the car, Bai Tang's expression stayed grim throughout the ride.
Feng Zi glanced at her, suppressing the strange feeling rising within him, and said coldly, "It seems Miss Bai isn't as harmless as she appears."
"If you know I'm not harmless, don't provoke me!" Bai Tang turned her head, staring at him with icy eyes, making no effort to hide the chill and threat in her demeanor.
Feng Zi sneered, mocking her. "I'd advise you not to be so arrogant. After all, people who are too cocky don't live long."
"Is that so?" Bai Tang smirked. "Want to bet I can kill you right now?"
